The River of Whirling Waters, known to the Daleks as the Uncrossable, was a perilous river which divided the continent Davius on Skaro, so named because whirlpools were located along this river at about every mile. After a great explosion destroyed the continent of Darren and killed most Thals living there, the surviving Thals spent several years travelling to the continent of Davius. After crossing through the Islands of Moving Mountains, they journeyed almost to the River of Whirling Waters, where they settled and lived as farmers for many generations.
