=== Ninth Doctor debate ===
== Ninth Doctor debate ==
I agree that it is tiresome to find common ground with Nine's timeline, its the whole "look at the ears" line for me. Paints ''Rose'' as coming earlier than it might have. Speaking of the ears line, the evidence I found that made me put ''Rose'' so early was actually from ''The Promise''. I quote, ''"The Doctor is aware of the size of his ears, setting this after ''Rose''. He has still only just regenerated."'' If he was just getting a first look at them in ''Rose'', as heavily implied in the scene, then how can he know about not liking them in ''The Promise'' is it happened first?

While I'm here, can I ask, is there any hint to which sonic screwdriver Nine uses in ''The Oncoming Storm''? If he's not using one, then it sounds like his personality traits would place ''The Oncoming Storm'' (where you say he is a wreck) before ''The Bleeding Heart'' (where he is looking for peace, but using War's red screwdriver).[[User:BananaClownMan|BananaClownMan]] [[User talk:BananaClownMan|<span title="Talk to me">☎</span>]] 00:33, March 12, 2018 (UTC)

=== "Ears conspiracy" ===
Hi, sorry this reply took so long, been wrapped up in my university finals for the past few weeks. I have looked further into what I like to call the "Ears conspiracy"; When the Doctor first looks in Rosa's mirror, he does more than comment on his ears. He full on says it "could have been worse", alluding to a recent regeneration that he hasn't seen the end result from. And, in ''The Beast of Babylon'', he only starts talking about Rose when telling Ali about his trip to Earth from ''Rose'', and when saying Ali has traits similar to her. Granted, he brings the whole thing up at random after showing the planet to her, so perhaps it's still a recent thing for him. But, he still talks about "when [he] met Rose, [he]'d only just regenerated", "still finding [his] feet", with a mindset of "new body, new start, new companion".
To be honest, I was kind'a hoping to not find anything when I was looking into this; I like the theory and solution you and I came up with together. But, facts like these can't be ignored, otherwise we'd be divulging into the taboo that is speculation and theorising by selecting what print we choose to follow.
Also, while I'm here, you recently moved ''The Bleeding Heart'' to before ''The Oncoming Storm''. Does the Doctor act the same as he does in ''The Oncoming Storm'', or is he using his blue sonic screwdriver in ''The Oncoming Storm''? Sorry to be a pain about it, but I don't have the funds to listen to ''The Churchill Years'' or ''Ninth Doctor Chronicles'' and have to get my infomsation ftom second hand sources to update the [http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Theory:Timeline_-_Ninth_Doctor timeline theory page]. Perhaps I could interest you into editing it with me, since you clearly know more about the Ninth Doctor's Big Finish adventures than I do at the moment.
Hope you have a nice day,

Can't seem to find this complaint of which you speak. What exactly is the issue and how would you suggest we handle it?

We need to clearly establish that information from the BBC can still be a spoiler. The 7b Blu-ray fiasco was an "official", if mistaken, release from the BBC. Many, many press releases come from the BBC which run afoul of our spoiler policy. It's important to convey that something can be a spoiler even if it comes from the BBC. We're talking about the organisation that we know robbed us of the surprise of a ninth regeneration and any suspense about the ending of The Parting of the Ways.
It seems to me that we have to weigh the costs and benefits here. Are the views of one person on Skype enough to muddle the clarity of the statement as worded? They might be, and I'm not opposed to kicking around some modification of language.
But —
This wiki just spent a week last month being incredibly, pro-actively pro BBC. At their request, we took extraordinary steps to help keep their secrets. Is it reasonable to interpret us as anti-BBC just because we've said that the BBC spoils their own product? Everyone knows they spoil all the time. They spoiled the regeneration on the beach thing of The Impossible Astronaut. They spoiled the cliffhanger of Daleks in Manhattan, back when they still owned and operated Radio Times. They spoiled the whole Silents/Silence thing, prior to the release of The Wedding of River Song. And, of course, they famously spoiled the 20th anniversary by okaying the release of The Five Doctors (novelisation) two weeks in advance of The Five Doctors (TV story).
Rule #1 of any fan trying to avoid spoilers is to stay away from the letters B, B, and C.
Is it really an insult to the BBC to point that out? I dunno, but it's certainly not slander. According to what our definition of spoiler is, the BBC do in fact spoil stuff on a regular basis.

Why did you delete my page? It obeys all of the community guidelines and is 100% true. I spent all afternoon in Hospital making that while I was waiting for the GP. This is just stupid and mean.

The Name of the Doctor

Hello :) Could you explain me why you reverted my edit in the continuity section of The Name of the Doctor, so that I won't fail in future? Thank you :) --HarveyWallbanger 20:34, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for your detailed answer :) I am not convinced 100%. The case I mentioned is when the Fourth Doctor wakes up for the first time and tries to flee with the Tardis in front of Sarah Jane and the Brigadier, in a hurry, because he says he doesn't like goodbyes. Eventually he changes his mind, I know, but... I won't complain again :) --HarveyWallbanger 18:27, August 12, 2013 (UTC)

My email

Hey There, I wanted to check in with you and see if you received my email. I sent it a few days ago. Let me know. Thanks, --Sarah<staff /> (help forum | blog) 15:52, August 22, 2013 (UTC)

War Doctor image

Hello :) I had a question regarding the image of the young War Doctor (Hurt), I few days ago I entered the infobox doctor but then I noticed that the image has moved and is now located directly below the infobox . Please, if possible, to repair the error.

(excuse my english but I'm not a native speaker)--William Warlow banger| 13:27, November 16, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply but I'm afraid you've misunderstood what I was asking was not to put the image of the young doctor as the main picture but because after entering the infobox that lists the various incarnations of the Doctor the image moves, finishing further down the page instead of where it really should be (in so far talks about how the eighth doctor was risen from the sisterhood of Karn) --William Warlow banger| 16:50, November 16, 2013 (UTC)

Images

Hey :) Before we get into a little edit war over the image at Dalek time controller and elsewhere, I thought I would explain why I'm having to delete a lot of your work today. It really is important that you follow our image rules, particularly about size. As of today, 250px is the absolute minimum width that is acceptable. It's not a suggested minimum, or a mere guideline. It's really, truly, the minimum width, because 250px is the width of the infobox. And this number will soon be revised upwards, for technical reasons.

Here's the deal: pictures are being taken and displayed in so many more ways than they were when you and I first joined Wikia. It used to be that you put an image in an infobox and that was the only place on the whole network where it lived. So a lot of us, me included, operated under the theory you probably still believe: better any image than no image.

But that's not how it is anymore.

Every picture on the site has to work in:

  • the infobox
  • at thumbnail level, in the body of an article
  • the mobile skin
  • at both widths of the images at "Our Top 7",
  • in MyWikia,
  • even within search results

And it's not just the locations that have multiplied. It's the quality of the devices on which the site is viewed. Monitor quality has exploded just in the last three years. People buying even phones today have much greater resolution than was ever possible before. Seriously, look at our site on an iPad Retina and you'd instantly want to start deleting pics out of sheer embarrassment.

So the old adage, "better something than nothing" really doesn't apply anymore. It honestly makes our site look better on modern devices to go with nothing than to go with something of poor quality.

Let me illustrate by putting two Dalek images side-by-side, as seen in MyWikia.

<250px well over 250px
MyWikiaDalekTimeController.png MyWikiaAsylum.png

You can see the difference in quality, even at this small size. But go ahead and expand those pictures to their native size. It doesn't take much scrutiny to see how incredibly badly pixellated your image on the left is. That's cause it's having to stretch something that's really tiny by a factor of more than four.

Also, you'll note that all that extra height that was on your image goes absolutely nowhere in MyWikia. All we've got is an eyestalk, anyway, so how is your picture actually illustrating the difference between a Dalek and a Dalek Time Controller? And your pic of Molly? All you could see in MyWikia was her forehead. Widescreen isn't just a stylistic choice for us: It's a technical necessity.

Now, look, I recognise that trying to illustrate audios is hard. You're basically limited to just the cover. But you still have to hit the technical minimums. One way you can more reliably do this is to get the highest resolution cover image possible. Usually Big Finish see out a giant 1600 sized version right around the time of release. Go for this one. Or scan the cover yourself to a huge size. And, yanno, don't try to hit 250px exactly. Go as wide as you can, with as high a quality source as you can, while still staying under 100kb in total file size.

And if you can't get something that fits the minimums, don't illustrate it at all. This is gonna really impact your work here once I do the math and find out the new optimum minimum size. (My guess is, though, that the new minimum is going to be about 450px.)

Honestly, the site looks better when we choose not to illustrate over using a very low-width image.

Reverting my edit

Hi, please explain why you used rollback to remove my edit to the Timey-wimey detector page. How is that not a similar device? Ajraddatz (Talk) 22:20, December 24, 2013 (UTC)

A much easier way of reverting changes like that is to go into the article's history, compare the current revision to the last good one and undo it from the diff between the two. Ajraddatz (Talk) 22:32, December 24, 2013 (UTC)

Christmas cheer

Happy holidays!

As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.

This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!

We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.

2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!

Template:Doctors

Hey, Template:Doctors is squashed in both my browsers and both my skins. Could you possibly update it (I've fixed it here) -- RansomTime 21:03, December 25, 2013 (UTC)

Hi there, I've noticed this recently, too, but thought it was just me. You're best asking User:CzechOut for that, he's our techie around here. Hope that helps! --Revan\Talk 21:06, December 25, 2013 (UTC)
Ok sure, I'll give him a note (hope you don't mind that I've moved the message here, a conversation on a talk page is incredibly hard to follow if you use more than one page to do it!) -- RansomTime 21:07, December 25, 2013 (UTC)

Alice Watson?

But Alice is listed as his companion on the audio's page.

Why remove her as Seventh Doctor's companion? I'd say she definitely acted as the (one-off) companion in Robophobia. If we count, say, Evelyn Chan or Astrid Peth as companions, I see no reason not to count Liv. JagoAndLitefoot 09:47, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

I have listened to Dark Eyes II, a few times, and that doesn't change the fact that it was Sally Armstrong who set up the Institute and then later on got £1bn funding from Kotris as the Doctor, and then set up shop in 107 Baker Street. Also, even if you disagree with my edit, the past edit said that the Eighth Doctor (not Kotris) gave the funding, and then that Kotris did give funding. At least my edit didn't contradict itself... Stegosaurus

Hello there. Can you please tell me what was wrong with my last edit on the stegosaurus article? That information I added was both genuine and sourced. --Lelal Mekha Rassilon seal.jpg (Parlour) 21:22, September 16, 2014 (UTC)

    • Your vigilance does you credit. I admit I should have added a bit more context in my edit summary. As a matter of fact, I should even add it in the article proper. --Lelal Mekha Rassilon seal.jpg (Parlour) 08:29, September 17, 2014 (UTC)

The name 'Koschei'

I have been following the The Master page here, and find one thing laughable(and evidently I am not alone...)

I actually left a message on the talk page at: [1], and reading through the previous archived discussions, I see I was not the first to make these points.

I've actually written a short piece on another wiki at [2](mind the typos).

Please feel free to respond however you see fit on both this wiki's The Master talk page, as well as at the entry on the other wiki. Everyone else on here seems to prefer to just ignore the facts of the matter. Master of Spiders 09:26, September 28, 2014 (UTC)

Hyperion

Hey, while creating an image for the Titan Comics race Hyperion you've accidentally overwritten the file used for the spaceship from The Mutants also called Hyperion. Could you fix that? -- Tybort (talk page) 12:49, December 10, 2014 (UTC)

I see you created a note on The Three Companions: "London has a Jubilee train line, an aftershock of the events of BFA: Jubilee." I'm not sure whether this is something meaningful or whether you're unfamiliar with the London Underground. You see the Jubilee Line is a tube line IRL. So if the audio just refers to the Jubilee Line (which seems to be how your note reads) then it has nothing to do with the audio "Jubilee". On the other hand, perhaps the audio reveals that the real-life Jubilee Line got its name in response to the events of "Jubilee". If that's so then the note should say that more specifically. Four Doctor Companions

Hey Revan, could you expand Template:Companions of the Fourth Doctor to include Miss Young and Milena? I've made the reasons clear on the talk page. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 11:55, August 28, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick reply and edit! However I would like to clarify that Melina is a prose companion and not a comic companion. Easy mistake. Also Young should go before Sharon Davies and not after her, being a TVC companion from before DWM. Sorry to bother! OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 12:22, August 28, 2015 (UTC)

Invite to forum

Hey Revan! I wanted to stop by and invite you to be a part of Thread:180396, where we're currently discussing if the DWU prefix does or does not well-represent our invalid policy. Monk/Master timeline

Why did you revert my edits to the Monk and Master timeline pages? Did I do something wrong? Sorry, I'm new to this. Fwhiffahder 18:38, November 24, 2015 (UTC)

I'm not sure if this is the correct way to reply. Is it okay if I revert your reversion, then make edits that take into account what you said? And for the Monk's incarnations: I said "Robert Bertram" because that's the alias he uses, it's not an actor name. Maybe "'No Future' Monk" would be better, like "'First Frontier' Master." I don't think First/Second/etc. works because it's not obvious what order they're in. The BF EDAs ignore No Future and show a Monk who wasn't bitter about the ice planet thing. Because BF is now doing this "driven by vengeance for Tamsin's death" arc, No Future fits again, if it's after the The Secret History and we essentially change the reason he wants revenge. The goal is, after all, to fit things together with the power of speculation. I read No Future recently with this in mind, and it's not set immediately after The Daleks' Master Plan. Especially considering The Black Hole, where he doesn't detail why he wants revenge, it could easily be that the "I'm mad about the ice planet" stuff was a lie. Fwhiffahder 19:00, November 24, 2015 (UTC)

Is The Eight Doctors the only story that says the Master was still infected with the Cheetah virus immediately pre-Movie? Prime Time and Dust Breeding were both written by Mike Tucker within a year of each other, and I don't think they contradict. Dust Breeding also doesn't specify whether it's the Tremas or First Frontier body that precedes Crispy #2.Fwhiffahder 19:32, November 24, 2015 (UTC)

Dust Breeding doesn't say it's "Trakenite DNA" that's lost, just his old body. I'm pretty sure it doesn't say that Survival was their last meeting either, since I listened to it with the specific intent of figuring out where it fits. In fact, the various Mike Tucker (sometimes with Robert Perry) PDAs and audios reference each other a lot. The Genocide Machine and Dust Breeding mention Coralee from Storm Harvest, and the secondary enemy of Dust Breeding is the Krill; it's essentially a sequel to Prime Time (Mike Tucker's Master), The Genocide Machine (Bev) and Storm Harvest (return of the Krill).Fwhiffahder 20:13, November 24, 2015 (UTC)

It wasn't Narvin

Why did you change the Master to say Narvin recruited the Master instead of Straxus? Narvin specifically says in The Death of Hope that it was done by Coordinator Straxus.64.233.172.236talk to me 18:56, January 12, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, just realized I'm a retard who can't log in properly. That last comment was me. Fwhiffahder 19:05, January 12, 2016 (UTC)

Can I chip in, It was Narvin who resurected the Master, I've listened to the death of Hope many times and the mention of Straxus is about this demise Adric♥NyssaTalk? 19:12, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
Just checked it. The Doctor rants about the CIA and Narvin tries to explain. The Doctor complains about the treatment of Molly, Narvin calls Straxus's actions "regrettable," the Doctor complains about recruiting the Master, Narvin (who really should be a politician) says that "mistakes" have been made. It wouldn't make any sense anyway for the now vehemently pro-Romana and generally Doctor-aligned Narvin to have brought in the Master, rather than his unscrupulous interim replacement Straxus.Fwhiffahder 19:20, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
Prrof for Rev to see
Proof is

Narvin : The actions of coordinator Straxus are regretable. The Doctor: Then you (referring to Narvin) took the insane step of sending the Master to clear things up using the Eminence Narvin: I admit certain error of Judgement have been made, that's ehy I'm here now.

The Doctor says Narvin sent the Master to clean up Straxus' mess and Narvin regrets to action.

Also This is exactly the thing Narvin would do. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 19:43, January 12, 2016 (UTC)

On the contrary, Narvin's entire point is that he's fixing those mistakes. "That's why I'm here now." It is absolutely not in line with Narvin after his character development. He spends all of Dark Eyes 3 trying to save lives and has gone as far as to cause Genesis of the Daleks to keep Romana in power. He's cleaning up after the lunatic killers, not hiring them.Fwhiffahder 19:50, January 12, 2016 (UTC)

I reverted the edit because from the dialogue in Dark Eyes 3 from my point of view it is Narvin who hired the Master. It doesn't realy make sense for Straxus to have hired the Master, as in Eyes of the Master the Master is "working for the CIA" in the timeline where Straxus has been erased, and in the other version of the Ides Institute. All of that only makes sense if it was Narvin who had hired him. There's nothing to say that Straxus had anything to do with the Eminence, as his plan entirely involved the Daleks. --Revan\Talk 11:17, January 13, 2016 (UTC)

It's apparently not a clear-cut issue. How about saying he was hired by the CIA as a whole, instead of blaming it on a specific Coordinator?Fwhiffahder 14:37, January 13, 2016 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. Then we can just cite the Eyes of the Master source like we used to. --Revan\Talk 14:48, January 13, 2016 (UTC)

The Master's regenerations

Contrary to what you seem to believe, the Master did not use up most of his regenerations trying to escape from a black hole. Quoting from the beginning of The Dark Path itself, the Master is described as "A man in a grey double-breasted suit stepped out and looked around. A cravat with a silver bird-of-prey tiepin was at the collar of his silk shirt. He was of medium build with a high forehead and swept-back hair that was greying at the temples. His neatly trimmed dark beard also had streaks of grey at the comers." --Bold Clone 18:08, January 19, 2016 (UTC)

Origin of Mary Shelley

Thank you for putting her birth year out of its misery. It was never stated explicitly in the audio, which is why I was hesitant to put it as is without an explanation.

I do, however, have a question. Why would you insist on keeping her origin as Earth rather than England even though the policy asks to avoid it? There is usually a reason behind what people are doing. And I usually benefit from learning this reason. Amorkuz 17:13, April 23, 2016 (UTC)

Wait a moment. Putting Earth as origin is against the policy as stated in Template:Infobox Individual: "Place of origin, typically a planet. If Earth, avoid saying "Earth". Try to name a city or a country of origin". Normally, Earth is put as the place of origin when the in-universe information is not sufficient to narrow it down. But stating Earth when information about the country of origin is available is against the policy quoted above, unless there is another policy I don't know about that takes precedence in this case. Amorkuz 17:51, April 23, 2016 (UTC)

Master timeline

You just significantly complicated the Master's timeline for no good reason. Why? Fwhiffahder 17:51, May 19, 2016 (UTC)

You may have a point about The Glorious Dead, but not about First Frontier. The only person in First Frontier who would know whether the Master's just come from Survival is the Master himself, and lying to someone (the Doctor) whose timeline is out of sync with your own is standard. Dust Breeding doesn't specify whether the Master's most recent body was Ainley or the one from First Frontier, and if Master is going to be put anywhere in a multiple timeline situation it's got to be with the New Adventures - it's got references to Adjudicators, Benny, Chris, and Roz. So putting the Cheetah-infected Ainley stuff before First Frontier is nowhere near the biggest retcon to contravene authorial intent in these timeline pages, and the Big Finish stuff has taken a carefully neutral position. Macqueen's regeneration

Are you sure The Two Masters says that he regenerated from a decaying form? Is this a throw-away line I'm missing or is it the "no more pain" bit which was repeated from Vampire of the Mind? The latter is outright stated to be a mind swap. C o T 10:13, June 14, 2016 (UTC)

Here's an except from the script that gives context to the "regeneration" scene.
NEW MASTER:
New hands. New eyes. New... everything. No pain! How... wondrous!
SEBASTIAN:
Excellent. It appears the transfer was successful.

SALRON:
Excellent. All praise the Heretic!
NEW MASTER:
I... Where am I?
SEBASTIAN:
Our home. There will be some initial disorientation. Do not worry,
it will soon pass.
NEW MASTER:
I remember the pain... but before that... (BEAT) I was attacked. Ruined. Destroyed!

So you see, Beevers is left thinking he has regenerated, but he actually hasn't. C o T 10:30, June 14, 2016 (UTC)

Here's the regeneration scene from Vampire of the Mind. C o T 11:45, June 14, 2016 (UTC)
FX: REVERSE ECHO INTO BRIEF FLASH-FORWARD TO ‘THE TWO MASTERS’ – SCENE 52 [TOP OF PART FOUR]:
(WITH A BLAZE OF ANDROZANI-LIKE REGENERATION ENERGY, THE NEW MASTER SNAPS AWAKE - THE DECAYED MASTER’S MIND NOW WITHIN)
NEW MASTER:
(GASP OF WAKING) [...] New hands. New eyes. New... everything. No pain! How... wondrous!

Sontaran editing issue

Hello.

I'm just inquiring about the erasing of what I tried adding to the Sontaran page.

How come references aren't counted on main pages?

Eighth Doctor timeline

Hello, User:BananaClownMan here. I've recently undertaken an expedition to find the most sensible timeline other each Doctor in chronological order, and have just concluded my research on the Eighth Doctor, and updated the timeline theory page to fit with my findings. I know you're a busy guy, but you've been called the highest authority on the Eighth Doctor in the past, and if you could see what I've found out at this page to see if I've made any mistakes, I'd be very grateful.

Thank you for your time, Sincerely BananaClownMan 19:14, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Prisoners of Time

Hey, as one of the editors who contributed the most for the Prisoners of Time page, I believe your input at this thread: [3] would be very useful. Thanks OncomingStorm12th 23:42, September 4, 2016 (UTC)

Your expertise is needed

Hi Revanvolatrelundar, seeing as you are quite well-versed in Iris Wildthyme, could you pop onto Thread:198639 and give your two cents? CoT ? 01:33, September 28, 2016 (UTC)

The Forgotten

Hey, as one of the editors who contributed the most for the The Forgotten (comic story) page, I believe your input at this thread would be very useful. Thanks. OncomingStorm12th 01:57, October 3, 2016 (UTC)

The American Adventures (anthology)

Hey, I created a page for this book, but later checked again, and saw it hasn't been released yet. Could you delete the page for me? Thanks. OncomingStorm12th 16:14, October 23, 2016 (UTC)

Oh, really? Weird. Both the amazon and Penguin Reader pages I looked said they were still to be released ([4] [5]). Guess there sould be different versions of the book, rather than the first published. Anyway, I'll now go ahead an complete the page then. Thanks. OncomingStorm12th 16:35, October 23, 2016 (UTC)
Oh, I see now that the kindle was released a long time ago, but the physical book hasn't yet. OncomingStorm12th 16:37, October 23, 2016 (UTC)

Change your favourite wikis list

Hi Revan, just notifying you that Paul Magrs Wikia is in your list of favourite wikis. You might want to change that as its front page proclaims it to be a haven from the "fascist bastards at tardis". CoT ? 01:31, November 16, 2016 (UTC)

Hi. This is the person who made the Paul Magrs wiki. I'm just stopping by (some of) the talk pages TheChampionOfTime has been making these comments on to clarify the concerns s/he has had: You may have noticed that the front page of that wiki refers to the editors of this wiki here as "fascist bastards." That's meant to be tongue in cheek, and not a serious criticism. You may also have noticed that a lot of story pages are shamelessly duplicated from pages on this wiki. That's not plagiarism; I used the Wikia import/export feature to preserve the edit history so that all the authors are properly cited, and the license (CC-BY-SA) is followed. Dominion

Hi, I understand it was ages ago. But at Thread:204223 we are trying to understand why Dominion (audio story) was named with the prefix "UNIT" unlike the previous UNIT-themed releases such as The Coup (audio story). Do you by any chance remember why you put UNIT into the title while creating this page? Thank you in advance. Amorkuz 21:24, January 4, 2017 (UTC)

The discussion regarding Doctor Who, Torchwood and UNIT prefixes is going full steam. And, if you have time, your input would certainly be much appreciated. Amorkuz 21:46, January 5, 2017 (UTC)

Torchwood: New York division

Hey Revan, you seem to be up to date on recent Torchwood releases. In the last year, has it ever been mentioned that Torchwood has a base in New York (particularly one beneath the Rockefeller Center)? Please put the answer to this question on User talk:Amorkuz as he's the one who wants to know. CoT ? 21:46, January 20, 2017 (UTC)

Livia in Doom Coalition

Hi Revan, could you please help me find the mention that the president in the TARDIS is Livia as I am sure that she is, but I avoided an editing war with another use in March about this please see User_talk:AdricLovesNyssa#President_during_Doom_Coalition and User_talk:TheChampionOfTime#President_Doom_Coalition for the conversation. We came to the conclusion that the president is female but might not be Livia, though I said due to my belief that the Gallifrey series and the Eighth Doctor timeline are contemporaneous so it should be Livia . Though a previous talk on my page tries to argue aginst this, see the section on Narvin. It might be wise to have a decision on this between us lot who have listened to both series. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 20:57, June 24, 2017 (UTC)

I might have been guilty of that put it on those pages, then forgot to change it after the earlier discussions. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 10:12, June 25, 2017 (UTC)

Request for opinion on thread

Hey Revan, it would appear from your edit history that you've heard Ringpullworld and Find and Replace, as such I would be very interested your opinion on whether the Novelisors are a DWU species over at Thread:206638. Best wishes, CoT ? 17:24, July 13, 2017 (UTC)

Possible Lock opertunity

Hi, is there a possibility of putting a lock on Anthony Spargo so that only registered editors can edit it as there has been an anonymous user(s) who keep vandalising the page, and myself and User:OncomingStorm12th keep having to undo the vandalism. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 16:05, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

No problem I wasn't sure which admin was active then so I asked a couple. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 21:47, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

Aliens among Us

Hi, thanks for creating the page. I had this release in mind for quite some time now, but never got around to doing anything about it. I have, however, a thought regarding this thing and was wondering what your take on this would be. BF treats this as part of a series rather than a standalone release. This would certainly be a new format. But I feel it would be more appropriate to remove "Part 1" from the page name and make it a conduit for the whole series much like Torchwood: Miracle Day is for 4th TV series of Torchwood. Because this "Part 1" stuff seems to me more like Series 6.1 of Doctor Who than, say, Jago & Litefoot: Series One (audio anthology). I'm wondering if you thought about this option at all and what you think about it. Thanks in advance for your time. Amorkuz 21:58, August 12, 2017 (UTC)

Believe it or not, I kept thinking the same thing, down to the name. It is set after Series 4 (Torchwood), it has the right format (I am being a bit cautious about spoilers here). All the main creators of Torchwood content are participating in it. RTD actually did more than a blessing, providing direct plot suggestions. And the word "Series" does not, in principle, fix which medium it should be in.
One thing that SOTO suggested though is to keep the current page as a merchandise page and create a new page for the series. Amorkuz 18:34, August 13, 2017 (UTC)

War Doctor Companions

Hi I noticed that you have just edited the template for the War Doctor. Could you add Heleyna and Kalan in the audio companions as I am not able to and had it as a request on the talk page since January Adric♥NyssaTalk? 20:30, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks, and will do. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 21:17, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Images over 2M

Hi, sorry I had to delete images you uploaded for The First Doctor Adventures. I'm sure you know the policy they violated: image sizes must be under 100k, and these two images overshot the limit more than 20fold. While there used to be many BF covers of large sizes, I just literally went through all the BF cover images replacing overlarge files with those complying with our policies (decreasing size, increasing width, etc.). Thus, I would appreciate it if we all (especially admins) could try and actually comply with the existing policies. I myself petitioned some time ago to increase the limit and was denied the request. T:BOUND is T:BOUND, and we are all bound by it.

Unfortunately, my current Internet connection prevents me from immediately uploading proper versions of these cover images myself. If you do not know how to make images smaller, I will deal with this myself at first opportunity. Thank you for your future cooperation. Amorkuz 23:51, December 25, 2017 (UTC)

Edits on the "Cyberman" page

Hi. I was just wondering why you reverted all my edits on the Cyberman page? LauraBatham 03:42, March 7, 2018 (UTC)

That's okay, it happens. I was the one who added the category on that page (sorry) but that was my very last edit which was done separately. Anyways, thanks for getting back to me so quickly and enjoy the rest of your day :) LauraBatham 23:52, March 7, 2018 (UTC)

Utopia windows

Hi, you seem to have a better mastery of the ontology of I Was Churchill's Double (audio story) than me. Your opinion on its categorisation and naming issues at Talk:I Was Churchill's Double (audio story) would be highly appreciated. Amorkuz 11:54, March 11, 2018 (UTC)

Ninth Doctor debate

I agree that it is tiresome to find common ground with Nine's timeline, its the whole "look at the ears" line for me. Paints Rose as coming earlier than it might have. Speaking of the ears line, the evidence I found that made me put Rose so early was actually from The Promise. I quote, "The Doctor is aware of the size of his ears, setting this after Rose. He has still only just regenerated." If he was just getting a first look at them in Rose, as heavily implied in the scene, then how can he know about not liking them in The Promise is it happened first?

Plus, like Tegan and Five arguing over saving Adric, its possible that Nine rethought his pitch to Rose many times after doing it, like when you rethink how you should have done something after doing it. Honestly, first chance I get, I'm gonna write an official Ninth Doctor short story that mentions him rethinking about going back to Rose as he feels "she will, or maybe has, played a part in an important moment in his life".

While I'm here, can I ask, is there any hint to which sonic screwdriver Nine uses in The Oncoming Storm? If he's not using one, then it sounds like his personality traits would place The Oncoming Storm (where you say he is a wreck) before The Bleeding Heart (where he is looking for peace, but using War's red screwdriver).BananaClownMan 00:33, March 12, 2018 (UTC)

"Ears conspiracy"

Hi, sorry this reply took so long, been wrapped up in my university finals for the past few weeks. I have looked further into what I like to call the "Ears conspiracy"; When the Doctor first looks in Rosa's mirror, he does more than comment on his ears. He full on says it "could have been worse", alluding to a recent regeneration that he hasn't seen the end result from. And, in The Beast of Babylon, he only starts talking about Rose when telling Ali about his trip to Earth from Rose, and when saying Ali has traits similar to her.

Also, while I'm here, you recently moved The Bleeding Heart to before The Oncoming Storm. Does the Doctor act the same as he does in The Oncoming Storm, or is he using his blue sonic screwdriver in The Oncoming Storm? Sorry to be a pain about it, but I don't have the funds to listen to The Churchill Years or Ninth Doctor Chronicles and have to get my infomsation ftom second hand sources to update the timeline theory page. Perhaps I could interest you into editing it with me, since you clearly know more about the Ninth Doctor's Big Finish adventures than I do at the moment.

Hope you have a nice day, BananaClownMan 00:45, April 3, 2018 (UTC)
