This list details of the main series of Doctor Who audio stories from Big Finish Productions. The list excludes such spin-offs which do not feature the Doctor, such as Dalek Empire, and a series of plays featuring Bernice Summerfield, which also take place in the Doctor Who Universe.

Big Finish have released several "special" releases such as promotional adventures with Doctor Who Magazine (usually with none or only one guest casting).

The Lost Stories
A series of stories that did not make it to screen for various reasons, adapted to full-cast audio programmes. Series 1 focused on the aborted Season 23 while Series 2 featured the aborted Season 27. Starting with Series 3, the focus shifted to any unused story idea from the Fifth or Sixth Doctors being turned into an audio drama whether or not a full script was prepared.
