Anne was the first Queen of the United Kingdom of England and Scotland. She succeeded William of Orange who died on 8 March 1702 (AUDIO: Phantasmagoria) and ruled from his death until 1714. (AUDIO: Doctor Who and the Pirates)
Behind the scenes
Anne was played by Elizabeth Spriggs in the 2004 BBC docudrama Wren: The Man Who Built Britain and Olivia Colman in the 2018 film The Favourite.
