Science fiction, (TV: Timelash) sometimes shortened to "sci-fi", (TV: The Pilot) was a literary genre, usually dealing with futuristic or technological themes. H. G. Wells coined the term during an adventure with the Sixth Doctor. (TV: Timelash)
