Rumours
- The Doctor gets trapped in the Medusa Cascade, and Rose, Donna, Martha, Jack, Mickey and Sarah Jane must try to free him.
- Martha joins Captain Jack at Torchwood. Possible, as reports show Martha and Mickey leaving with Jack at the end of the episode. Also it is known that as of Exit Wounds, Jack needs a medic to replace Owen Harper. However it is uncertain whether it is the end of the episode or during.
- Mickey joins Captain Jack at Torchwood. As the above, possibly to replace Toshiko Sato, as he has been known for his talents of hacking into secure government systems, such as in The Christmas Invasion when he hacked into the UNIT database. However it is uncertain whether it is the end of the episode or during.
- It is rumoured that one of the companions will die. Some believe it will be Rose; some say it will be Donna (As Rose said she would), and some think it will be Martha. Most likely it will be Rose or Martha as Donna is rumoured to be alive at the very end of the series. Leaked videos confirm that Donna survives, and as above, Martha is seen leaving with Jack. Rose's fate is still uncertain. It is also possible that this rumor is referring to Jack, since he would just come back; while it may also refer to Gwen Cooper (as she and Ianto are not in leaked photos near the end of the episode) and the rumor was playing on speculation that a female companion would die. And, even if a companion dies, chances are the Doctor would find a way to restore them, as a major theme of the Tenth Doctor has been resurrection.'This is unlikely as it has been made very clear that these deaths will be permanent in various interviews.Examples? In an interview on gmtv with freema agyeman and elisabeth slayden it is mentioned by a dalek that one of the doctor's favourite companions won't make it
- Jenny is rumored to return in the finale, it could be her who will die only to have a regeneration. She does meet the "needs" to be a companion
- River song is also believed to return in this episode Where does this information come from? It's not information. It's a rumor. That's why it's in the rumors category, and not Story Notes.
- This episode is rumoured to run for 65 minutes. Confirmed in the most recent issue of DWM
