The Doctor's socks constantly change from stripey blue socks to his normal black socks.
Continuity
- Rory states that he is 31-years-old. If Rory was born in 1989 (considering that Amy and Rory are the same age in DW: Let's Kill Hitler and Amy's birth year according to DW: The Eleventh Hour), then this story is set in 2020. Therefore, this seems to be the same year that Amy and Rory went back to the hill and waved to themselves in DW: The Hungry Earth.
- The last time Amy and Rory encountered the Silurians was in their first Chris Chibnall penned stories, DW: The Hungry Earth and DW: COld Blood.
- Rory injects his father, Brian Williams, after he is shot with a laser and promises him it won't hurt. Afterwards Brian yelps and Rory tells him, "I lied." This is reminiscent of DW: The Time of Angels when Rory's daughter, River Song, injects her mother, Amy, with an antibiotic and promises it won't hurt only for Amy to yelp and River to explain that she lied.
