- Among those taken on as pilots by Mark were Chuck Dowd, the O'Leary brothers, Amanda Freelove and Roy Schiff.
- In the course of her travels with Mark, Amanda Freelove posed for Pablo Picasso, played senate for Cleopatra, and secretly married Lord Byron in the Church of Saint Mary Magdelene. After Lord Byron left her for Anne Milbanke, Amanda decided to die in 1814, rather than return to the 21st century.
Notes
- An illustration by Jamie Lenman of Missy inside Mark 212 was included in The DWM Review in DWM 536.
Continuity
- Missy says that she has been "a pile of desiccated bones" before, calling it "very relaxing" and that it "saves time exfoiliating".
- Missy uses hypnosis on Joe Lynwood, although in a different manner to her previous incarnations' chant of "I am the Master and you will obey me" (TV: Terror of the Autons et al).
- The Master's TARDIS demonstrates sentience (TV: The Doctor's Wife), requires pilots to travel (TV: Journey's End) and uses an avatar to talk with others (TV: Hide).
