The Republican Party was an American political party.

Several US Presidents who have been mentioned to exist in the DWU, but whose party has not been stated, were Republicans in the real world. These include: Chester A. Arthur, William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Dwight D. Eisenhower, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. Ulysses S. Grant was another real world Republican US President who exists in the DWU, however, no DWU source mentions him having been president.

John McCain was the Republican Party nominee for the 2008 presidential election.
