Novelisation

  • This novelisation is based on the original television serial DW: Fury from the Deep which was written by Victor Pemberton and shown from 16 March 1968.
  • The cover and information shown on the right is for the original Target novel. It featured the artwork of David McAlistair. (See below for information on other editions published with different covers).

  • It was felt that Victor Pemberton’s adaptation of his televised story as a novelisation, even though it had a much higher word count, should not be cut down, and was ultimately released as a bumper volume with an increased cover price of £1.95 (UK).
