A satellite over Earth with the number 5 on it... was a webcast short which served as an interlude in the multi-media Doom's Day series, seemingly taking place during mission 2 in the novel Extraction Point.

It was released in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Doctor Who.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

Doom looks at her vortex manipulator displaying a projection of a clock, reminiscing about her 14 hours left and still looking for the Doctor. The projection changes to that of a satellite, with Doom saying it's good she's on it. The projection then changes to the number 5, which she questions whether that is a good sign. As she looks away, the projection changes to a skull.
