Harry Mortimer was the son of Thomas Mortimer and Carla Alcazar.

Harry was born in 1988 or 1989 to Thomas Mortimer and Carla Alcazar, who chose not to get married. By 2013, he had entered into a relationship with Vinay Siddiqui and made the headline of Vinay's grandmother's family newsletter for three months straight. He chose to renovate Hideaway with the aim of selling it on, which Vinay disagreed with.
When Harry and Vinay moved into Hideaway to begin the renovation, they met River Song and initially assumed that she was the cook. They cared for her after she injured her ankle falling down the stairs and watched the entirety of Pride and Prejudice with her, although Harry had to be tempted by the prospect of a man jumping in a lake. They followed River's time tutoring Thomas in the 1960s through George Mortimer's books and Harry accepted when Vinay proposed to him with a hoover attachment.
Harry and Vinay got married on the beach with Maddie Mortimer in attendance, although River told them only that she was a relative. They allowed River to officiate the ceremony, wore two of Thomas's suits and exchanged two of Mary Mortimer's rings. Harry decided against selling Hideaway and lived there for many years with Vinay, having children and grandchildren. They were visited by River, who took them on several honeymoons. Unlike Vinay, Harry disliked watching dramas like Pride and Prejudice because they were "heteronormative", but could be persuaded to watch them by being reminded of attractive male leads. (AUDIO: Friend of the Family)
