Kotturuh crystals, (PROSE: The Knight, The Fool and The Dead [+]Loading...["The Knight, The Fool and The Dead (novel)"]) sometimes referred to as Judgement Stones, (WC: Incoming Transmission - February Update Video [+]Loading...["Incoming Transmission - February Update Video (webcast)"], GAME: Worlds Apart [+]Loading...["Worlds Apart (video game)"]) were found on the planet Mordeela. The power from within the crystals gave the Kotturuh the power to deliver the gift of death to other species. (PROSE: The Knight, The Fool and The Dead [+]Loading...["The Knight, The Fool and The Dead (novel)"]) Inyit told the Ninth Doctor and Ikalla that according to legend the crystals were so powerful that the Kotturuh had to deliver death or the power of the crystals could potentially destroy all life in the universe. When charged, the crystals had the ability to negate the effects of the Kotturuh’s power and thus protect someone from their judgement. Professor Fallomax utilised this in her lifeshrouds, collecting crystals via mining drones on Mordeela, though was unable to make the crystals last longer than a couple of hours even with the Tenth Doctor’s help. Inyit, the last of the Kotturuh, had a crystal in her possession on Birinji, which she entrusted to the Doctor to use during the Defence of Gallifrey. (PROSE: All Flesh is Grass [+]Loading...["All Flesh is Grass (novel)"]) A Kotturuh crystal was an exhibit in the Verbier Museum of the Impossible. (PROSE: Canaries [+]Loading...["Canaries (short story)"]) The Dalek Prime Strategist of the Restoration Empire had integrated the last remaining Kotturuh crystals in his possession into his unit to power a temporal shift to escape the Time Vortex. By February 2024, UNIT's visual interface contained an information card on Judgement Stones, classed as one of the TLV Cards. Like all other TLV Cards, it was updated with new firsthand information downloaded by Sasha from a Great Vampire coffin ship after she was briefly sent back to the Dark Times by the Entity. This enabled it and the other TLV Cards to be reclassified as Level Three. (WC: Incoming Transmission - February Update Video [+]Loading...["Incoming Transmission - February Update Video (webcast)"])
