Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This marks the second appearance of the Daleks in The Third Doctor Adventures, after The Conquest of Far in Volume Three.
- Producer David Richardson gave Guy Adams a brief to write a story in which the UNIT team battle the Daleks. Adams' original script involved the team being sent back in time through Earth's history. Richardson felt it lacked enough "new" elements and suggested it be set in space instead. (BFX: Poison of the Daleks)
- The stories in the box set were recorded on 10 September and 12-15 November 2019 at Moat Studios. Jon Culshaw's lines were recorded in one day, as he was busy on tour at the time. (BFX: Poison of the Daleks)
- Sound effects from Dr. Who and the Daleks are used for the doors in the Dalek city.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Daleks utilise Varga plants, (TV: Mission to the Unknown) a Slyther and Robomen in the defences of their city. (TV: The Dalek Invasion of Earth) They have also developed a Robotisation process which retains an individual's intelligence. (AUDIO: Masters of Earth)
- In his singsong, the Doctor mentions Venusians, (PROSE: Venusian Lullaby) Drahvins, (TV: Galaxy 4) Draconians, (TV: Frontier in Space) Moroks (TV: The Space Museum) and Peladon. (TV: The Curse of Peladon, The Monster of Peladon).
- The Brigadier and Benton recognise the Daleks. (TV: Day of the Daleks)

- The Dalek Supreme switches to emergency static power provided by the floor. Skwoj and Benton insulate its power by pushing it onto a thick plastic cape. (TV: The Daleks)
- The Doctor deduces that he has travelled a great deal forward in time, as well as having been displaced in time, by examining the stars. (TV: Heaven Sent)
