Joshua Adams was in Courtney Woods' year at Coal Hill School. He correctly noted, when Clara Oswald put the word on the whiteboard, that tardigrade was a German word.
In 2013, Clara took her class outdoors to learn about tardigrades. Once they got settled on the grass, she instructed them to look up at the sky for ten seconds, then to shut their eyes, count to five, open them again and tell her what they see. She presumably went on to explain, as did the Eleventh Doctor to her, that the little things floating in their line of vision were tiny creatures, and they were everywhere. (PROSE: Normality)
