Daniel Claremont was the prime minister of the United Kingdom in 2015. During his teenage years he attended Ravenscaur School, where he was transformed into a Sea Devil.
History
When he was twelve years old he began boarding at Ravenscaur. Mrs Mariner "instilled her values" in him for the next six years of his life. (COMIC: Clara Oswald and the School of Death)
In 2014 his predecessor was rendered mentally incapable of running the United Kingdom, leaving a place in the goverment that quickly needed to be filled. (COMIC: After Life)
In the September of 2015 he travelled by Helicopter to Raven's Isle to attend a dinner with the staff and pupils of Ravenscaur. A day after arriving on the island he gave a speech about the government's plans concerning the environment and climate change. The event took a disastrous turn when the Twelfth Doctor activated the school's sprinkler system, revealing Mr Claremont's true nature on live television. Personality
Claremont was a proud student of Ravenscaur. He treated Mrs Mariner like his mother, wanting her approval for all of his actions. When surrounded with his Sea Devil brethren he admitted that he despised "that concrete jungle they call civilisation". He enjoyed eating live seafood. (COMIC: Clara Oswald and the School of Death)
