StoryTitle was a narrative trailer for the blu-ray release of season 14 of Doctor Who.

Unlike previous entries in the loose series of narrative trailers for blu-ray releases which the Doctor Who YouTube channel had been putting out, this one did not take place in the Doctor Who universe, instead having Louise Jameson play herself interacting with a "Home Assistant" coincidentally designed after the Voc sandminer robots from The Robots of Death.
While on the surface it appears that this webcast is not set in the Doctor's universe, a variety of other sources establish that Tom Baker exists within the DWU, as well as the implication that Louise Jameson has fought genuine Voc robots prior to this story, the story does have a place in the DWU.

Both for this reason and for being a trailer in the first place, the story is not currently considered a valid source on this Wiki.
However, due to this story being classed as a trailer by the BBC, it is not currently considered a valid source on this Wiki.

Home Assistant was a narrative trailer for the blu-ray release of season 14 of Doctor Who.

While on the surface it appears that this webcast is not set in the Doctor's universe, a variety of other sources establish that Tom Baker exists within the DWU, as well as the implication that Louise Jameson has fought genuine Voc robots prior to this story, the story does have a place in the DWU.

However, due to this story being classed as a trailer by the BBC, it is not currently considered a valid source on this Wiki.

Synopsis

Louise Jameson is sitting in her garden and enjoying herself and her new Home Assistant, but something goes terribly wrong with it.

Plot

Louise Jameson (The Home Assistants of Death) is talking to Tom over the phone about the latest Blu-ray release of "their adventures", and mentions that she's even been talking about it to her Home Assistant. At Tom's query, she confirms that she doesn't usually like machines, but explains that this one has been designed after an old friend: this is when the defictionalised V14 approaches her, politely asking if she would like a drink.

The dream come true doesn't last long, however, as V14 begins to malfunction, promising to "mow the dog, vacuum Victoria sponge and kill Louise". Seemingly more aggravated than worried, Louise Jameson mutters, "not this again", and knocks V14 out with the Blu-ray box set she had been talking about. As V14 falls to the ground, dismantled and smoking, she winks, declaring with a satisfied smirk: "Still got it!"
