Richard asks if his time machine, built out of a shower, will work. The Doctor crosses his fingers, and says that he's sure it will. Richard pull the curtains aside and asks the Doctor how his time machine compares to the Doctor's. The Doctor says it seems to be vaguely the same shape outside, except his was a [[Police box]]. He also notes that his time machine was much bigger on the inside. He explains that he even had a [[TARDIS swimming pool|swimming pool]] inside, although he took it out because the TARDIS kept flooding.
