XL5 Collision Course! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Fireball XL5 comic story XL5 Under Attack, part of a multi-series crossover with the DWU, with a smaller piece also tying-in to The Daleks story The Amaryll Challenge.

to be added
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Lieutenant Colonel Shienvif is the commander of Space Station K42 and has reported that Fireball XL5 has been involved in a battle with the Astran space fleet. Specifically, Colonel Zodiac has placed Fireball on a collision course with the Astran flagship. Emergency Rescue Ships have been dispatched to pick up any survivors.
- The news has completely shattered the hopes of peace at Space City following the arrest of the Astra Kaplan's assassins. The future outlook is gloomy and Space War seems increasingly likely.
- Lady Penelope, TV 21's special reporter in Paris, has been arrested and jailed on suspicion of placing explosives in a demolition area.
- Scientists at Space Observation at Tompa, Neptune, have observed what they believe to be a supernova, an exploding star, two thousand light years away in the space area of Alvega.
- The Los Angeles office reports that Amos Burke is believed dead after his car plunged from a cliff road. Detective Sergeant Hart is leading the investigation with the case being treated as a homicide.
