Worldbuilding
- Jennifer is a Septima IX generation ship, commissioned in the early 23rd century and built in the dockyards of the Mars Orbital. She has carried five generations of humans on their journey to the rimworlds on the galactic rim. They have travelled for 183 years.
- Jennifer creates a ornate china vase from Iris' memories. It hails from the Ming dynasty (the Ruler of the Universe, not the Chinese one).
- A Septima XXIV colony ship passed Jennifer on the far side of the Tricorn Nebula.
