- This series was announced on 22 February 2013.[1]
- Guest cast details were revealed on 11 April 2013.[2]
- This series was recorded on 4 May 2012 and 8-9 May 2013 at the Moat Studios.[3]
- The Further Adventures of Iris Wildthyme was given away with pre-orders of this release.[1][2]
- Big Finish announced this to be the last Iris Wildthyme series they would produce on 26 November 2013.[4] They would later announce Wildthyme Reloaded on 18 April 2015,[5] and Iris herself had appeared in The Worlds of Big Finish in the interim.
