Poppy was a student at Coal Hill School and worked behind the 'oven fresh' counter in the Morefields supermarket.

Poppy has always been fastidious and was obsessive about keeping her room tidy. She was described as mousy, insecure and nervous. April MacLean knew her from violin lessons and said that she was nice, quiet and lonely. She was saving money for driving lessons but had not yet passed the test.

One day in 2016, when her body was controlled by a "joyrider", this joyrider stole a car and, after speeding for ten minutes through Shoreditch and causing several fatalities on the way, crashed the car through a betting shop window, killing Poppy.

All Coal Hill defenders but Miss Quill attended Poppy's funeral. (PROSE: Joyride)
