A man known as Rockingham was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom who succeeded Lord North in 1782. He died on 1 July, leaving peace negotiations with America uncertain. He was succeeded by Shelburne. (PROSE: The Adventuress of Henrietta Street)
Behind the scenes
