References
- Daleks condition their human slaves using gold cubes applied to the forehead. Each subsidiary cube is controlled by a master cube.
Notes
- *Sub Zero is rare example of a Doctor Who story to begin with a typographical symbol — in this case, an asterisk — instead of an alphabetic or numeric character. Later examples include:
- PROSE: ...And Eternity in an Hour in 1996
- AUDIO: ...ish in 2002
- PROSE: /Carpenter/Butterfly/Baronet in 2004
- PROSE: ...Be Forgot in 2004
- PROSE: £436 in 2008
- PROSE: ...and from the Tower She Did Fall in 2013
- AUDIO: #HarrySullivan in 2019
- The Daleks are led by a black and gold Dalek. The same colour scheme was used for the Dalek Supreme who appeared on the television series in Planet of the Daleks in the following year.
Continuity
- Sydney Harbour Bridge was rebuilt. (TV: Journey's End)
- The Daleks use brainwashed slaves to perform manual labour for their invasion force similar to the Robomen. Those suitable for purpose were transformed into Daleks. Bodily, then mentally. A process, at one point, pioneered by Davros on the planet Necros. (TV: The Dalek Invasion of Earth, Revelation of the Daleks)
- The direct consequences of the Daleks' invasion attempt are continued in COMIC: The Planet of the Daleks.
- The Daleks would later again attempt to use Polaris submarines to drive the Earth into war. (COMIC: The Threat from Beneath)
