Wink was the third and final story in the Out of Time series, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Lisa McMullin and featured David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor.

When the Sixth Doctor goes sight-seeing on Lucidus Silvara, he finds himself in a place where nothing is visible at all...only all-encompassing light! The Tenth Doctor is drawn in by a temporal anomaly, and the two Doctors meet a species with no sense of sight, living in a city surrounded by Weeping Angels.
To save a civilisation, the Doctors must keep their eyes on the Angels. Don’t blink. Don’t even wink...

- When the Doctors are first confronted by the Weeping Angels, the Sixth Doctor says: "Angel to the left of us, angel to the right", to which the Tenth Doctor replies: "Here I am, stuck in the middle with you", referencing the song "Stuck In the Middle With You" by Stealers Wheel.

- The Tenth Doctor is refusing to accept his fate, despite the TARDIS wanting to take him there. (TV: The End of Time)
- The Sixth Doctor suggests winking as a way of halting the Weeping Angels. Amy Pond was somewhat more successful in this method, (TV: The Time of Angels) as was the Tenth Doctor when he faced Weeping Angels in the First World War. (COMIC: The Weeping Angels of Mons)
- Upon meeting the Sixth Doctor, the Tenth Doctor exclaims "not again", in reference to him having recently fought the Daleks alongside the Fourth Doctor, and then later, the Cybermen alongside the Fifth Doctor. (AUDIO: Out of Time, The Gates of Hell)
- The Sixth Doctor is surprised and appalled that the Tenth Doctor is able to lock and unlock the TARDIS with a key fob. - The Tenth Doctor has a sonic screwdriver while the Sixth Doctor does not. The Sixth Doctor's screwdriver was destroyed by the Terileptils while he was in his fifth incarnation, (TV: The Visitation) though he would regain the sonic screwdriver by the end of his next incarnation. (TV: Doctor Who)
- Despite having no sight, the locals have accidentally trapped numerous Weeping Angels with mirrors, due to the Angels essentially staring at themselves. The Eleventh Doctor used pretty much the same trick on Trenzalore. (TV: The Time of the Doctor) The Tenth Doctor, with the help of Sally Sparrow and Larry Nightingale, also trapped four Weeping Angels in the basement of Wester Drumlins by making all four of them surround the TARDIS. Upon dematerialisation, the Weeping Angels were all looking at each other. (TV: Blink)
- As is normal when multiple incarnations of the Doctor's meet, the Tenth Doctor employs a nickname for his counterpart. This time, he calls his earlier self "Curly", in reference to his hair. (TV: The Five Doctors, The Day of the Doctor et al)
