Rachel was a student at Coal Hill Academy and the girlfriend of Ram Singh, with whom she attended the school prom. Tragically, while with Ram at the night of the prom, she was suddenly killed by Corakinus, king of the Shadow Kin, who impaled her with his blade through her chest from behind, splattering Ram with her blood as Rachel's body exploded into ashes.
