Shadow Proclamation

Regarding this revision, why is Category:Galactic law redundant for Shadow Proclamation? {{raw:w:papi}} 20:29, July 19, 2017 (UTC)

Possible Lock opertunity

Hi, is there a possibility of putting a lock on Anthony Spargo so that only registered editors can edit it as there has been an anonymous user(s) who keep vandalising the page, and myself and User:OncomingStorm12th keep having to undo the vandalism. Adric♥NyssaTalk? 16:06, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for doing that Adric♥NyssaTalk? 21:47, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

Your reversion

Why did you revert my revision? Is there any reason the page needs to use the page name magic word rather than the name of the article itself? Most articles on this wiki don’t use {{PAGENAME}}. {{raw:w:papi}} 16:54, August 6, 2017 (UTC)

Note on Cat:Individual Time Lords

Hey there! I just figured I'd ask you about a change I want to make. On Category:Individual Time Lords, there's a note from 2012 saying

"Individual Time Lords cannot be a subcategory of Category:Individual Gallifreyans, or vice versa. Such arrangement creates bot-stopping recursion. From a purely practical standpoint, the two categories need to be merged for the smooth operation of the wiki."

I'm thinking of removing the note. Besides the bot, there are plenty of other reasons why someone shouldn't put Cat:Individual Gallifreyans in Cat:Individual Time Lords, or vice versa; namely, there are several non-Gallifreyan Time Lords, and there are also several non-Time Lord Gallifreyans, like I.M. Foreman and the Outsiders. This is also a strong argument against merging the two categories, hence why no editor over the last 5 years has followed the note's suggestion. What would you think of me removing the note for this reason, or at least removing the merger suggestion it includes? NateBumber 22:29, August 7, 2017 (UTC)

Why did you undo my revision?

You undid my revision. Can you please explain why?

You did it a little over a week ago too, and you still haven’t explained why. {{raw:w:papi}} 00:25, August 14, 2017 (UTC)

I left a reply to you on my wall. {{raw:w:papi}} 00:54, August 14, 2017 (UTC)

Suspicious user

Thank you for blocking User:Liambowler15. However, I noticed something. Check the logs page. Is it just me, or is it a big supsicious that, extremely soon after he is blocked, User:SecretMan15 is created. If you think I'm being too suspicious, check out User:LiamBowler, another probable sock puppet. I've given up assuming good faith now. This user appears to know the rules about no fan fiction, and is deliberately avoiding blocks. 86.152.200.56talk to me 15:31, August 18, 2017 (UTC)

If the name isn't enough, Liam Bowler's page DOES claim that he is the Doctor, and Liambowler 15 kept adding fake articles about himself as the Doctor. His contributions page appears empty to me. Did he create any (now deleted) articles of a similar style to 15? 86.152.200.56talk to me 15:33, August 18, 2017 (UTC)
Ok, 'SecretMan' at least admitted to being a sock puppet, but did promise to stop the vandalism, and claimed to be 'only 14'. Make of that what you will. I leave it in your hands now. Bye now... 86.152.200.56talk to me 17:18, August 18, 2017 (UTC)
See User talk:SecretMan15, btw. 86.152.200.56talk to me 17:26, August 18, 2017 (UTC)

Uncredited cast problem

Hi, I have a problem with a source for some uncredited cast on An Adventure in Space and Time, it gives a source for Ellie Spicer and Robin Varley playing Anneke Wills and Michael Craze, but it has spoilers for the upcoming christmas special. I'm not sure what the TARDIS policy is for this occurance. I am currently omitting the link, as I think they obeys the spoiler policy, but it can be found on the radio times website. Why did you revert my revision? {{raw:w:papi}} 14:05, August 25, 2017 (UTC)

Hey, hope you're well! I think your input would be appreciated in this discussion :) NateBumber 17:51, August 25, 2017 (UTC)

Hi again! Just making sure you've seen this message. – N8 06:32, September 1, 2017 (UTC)
Not to be annoying or anything, but we're waiting on your input to move on with the merger. Pretty please give it a quick lookover as soon as is comfortable. – N8 01:55, September 4, 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for the reply :) – N8 03:25, September 4, 2017 (UTC)

Reply

Thanks for the message.

I was just trying to find someway of getting rid of the page myself or at least reporting the individual for plain stupid behavior.

I probably should've read up on this already but how would I report this to someone like you?

Thanks again. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vincent VG (talk • contribs) .

Continuous vandalising

Hi. I just wanted to point out a possible necessity to block the person behind User:2602:306:3B92:AB90:E4E7:4B68:7659:E0B9 from the Wikia. This person is clearly the same as User:2A02:C7F:3A2B:3B00:1886:B3A0:7626:B741 who was recently exiled as well as User:2A00:23C3:3F11:1A00:2935:19F0:9E4D:E995 who is yet to be done anything about. He/she is creating multiple accounts in order to do what he/she is doing. --DCLM 08:33, August 28, 2017 (UTC)

Re: Edit summaries

Ok! I'm not bothering by some of my images being deleted/reverted at all. I just forgot about the rules here since the time between my visits is very long, so i make some mistakes or forget some stuff. Also, all jokes i make about these "remaining files" is focused towards the image having 400kbs+ and being pixelated all over. I didn't meant to criticize the Staff or be disrespectful to anyone. If i was not obvious about that, i apologize for my mistake.
P.H. CP 03:35, September 1, 2017 (UTC)

Sorry once again, but i was reading the Edit summary rules(?), and the "What not to write" section says "Don't use the edit summary to be comedic about a page's content or (describe) what you are changing.", but the "What to write" says It should be descriptive of what you are changing. I got confused if i should describe the changes to an image or if i shouldn't.

Why did you undo my revision?

Can you explain this revision of yours?

Grammatically, the first word of a sentence should be capitalized (most of the time).

Also, [. . .] is not an ellipsis, and I don’t understand what the spoiler divs and spans are for when there’s a template at the top. {{raw:w:papi}} 08:57, September 7, 2017 (UTC)

Reply to the Images Sizes

I did had no intentions of uploading images larger than 100kb, I will admit that I had not been paying attention the files sizes but that's what I will do now on in the future. All I did know that uploading larger versions is a violation to the Policy, I just didn't know the precise limit, but thanks for telling me at lease. --Braxiatel Flux 02:57, September 21, 2017 (UTC)

Haven-ly help

Thank you for moving the page. It took some effort to find another space station named Haven in AUDIO: The Cannibalists but the Haven (The Swords of Kali) is finally created and will be expanded upon. Thanks again. Amorkuz 17:49, September 21, 2017 (UTC)

Re:BC

I'd completely missed your reply on that talk page! Thank you so much for doing the research to answer my question, and thank you for bringing it to my attention; those threads were really interesting reads, so I very much appreciate it. – N8 18:02, September 24, 2017 (UTC)

The same thanks apply to your finding the old IU/OOU Continuity rulings in Talk:The Parting of the Ways -- you're truly incredible at finding these old policy decisions! Thank you :) – N8 16:09, November 16, 2017 (UTC)

Why did you delete my edits?

No offense at all

No worries, all I wanted to do was to set the record straight. It was a bit of a weird situation: I put a speedy rename for the brother, and somebody tracked this edit of mine and changed the link on Gabby's page. I don't have time to do the rename right away (many more links to change), but I didn't want the IP to think they did something wrong. That's the only reason I undid your edit. I hope I did not offend you either. I only intended to state the facts, which were not easily accessible after the IP edit. Funnily enough, this name, Gino, was staring me in the face all this time from the infobox image of The Weeping Angels of Mons (comic story). By the way, I fear there will be a lot of chaotic edits from me for this story. It is immensely complex and defies any order of edits. Amorkuz 15:08, October 1, 2017 (UTC)

Hyphenated Slitheen

No, I don’t think it should affect the others. The speedy renames are based on the exact spelling from the novel The Monsters Inside and are applied only to the characters from the novel. Moreover, the novel is set some 500 (I think) years after World War Three, so spelling could well change in-universe. Amorkuz 06:26, October 26, 2017 (UTC)

Dear Shambala, why do you keep deleting pages that I create? Neither Herot nor LGBT characters have been unrelated to Doctor Who, and both have been developed. Please can you clarify their deletions. Many thanks, Ecuemaria 16:22, October 26, 2017 (UTC)

Having read the discussion you linked me to, I can understand why it was removed. However, is there any way the conversation can be restarted. It was 5 years ago, things have changed, and I feel a new discussion is warranted. As I am relatively new, could you point me in the right direction and/or help me start this? Many thanks, Ecuemaria 21:27, October 28, 2017 (UTC)

You know in Tooth and Claw, when he was banished, the Doctor could have tried to explain in a very tense voice that he does not 'consort with stars and magic' because he considers it fun, but because he considers it an obligation to fight it for the greater good, and then snapped at Victoria 'you don't understand! We haven't strayed THAT far from all that is good, your majesty!' What would Victoria's response be to the Doctor's tirade directed at her? Mc1934 15:37, November 19, 2017 (UTC)

Spoilers

Hey there Shambala. I noticed you deleted Talk:The Doctor (The Death List) because it offended the spoiler policy, but I actually wrote it with T:SPOIL open in another tab to make sure I didn't break it! Could you just clarify what about it was a spoiler, so I can rephrase and repost the comment?

Hope you're well! – N8 05:24, November 25, 2017 (UTC)

That makes sense; thank you for the explanation. I hope you and your family had a happy holiday! – N8 03:53, November 27, 2017 (UTC)

Monsing Angels

Hi, I'm still in the middle of editing this big story (really should return to it before the centenary of the Great War is over), but there are two comic panels set each in one of those two years. They are in Part 2. There is a group of unnamed soldiers sitting in front of the fire. Then we see them popping up, one in Ancient Rome, one in London. I decided not to include these settings in the infobox because they are not “main” settings. But there are nevertheless scenes set in those years in the story. The years are explicitly given in the top left corners of each panel. Amorkuz 06:52, December 3, 2017 (UTC)

Oh, that's what it was. Thanks for reminding me! I think I was planning to create these "Stories set in" categories at some point, but decided to postpone. And naturally completely forgot. The categories are created. Thanks for helping me clean my mess. Amorkuz 19:15, December 4, 2017 (UTC)

Edit Reverted

I was wondering as to why my edit was reverted, as this is my first time on this platform. http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Mysterious_circuit

Category naming

Hello! I wasn't at all surprised by your deletion tag at Category:Possible identities of the enemy, since I'm still a novice at category creation. But I'm having a little difficulty figuring out which "first line of T:CAT NAME" it violates! If you could clarify I'd really appreciate it :) Hope you're well! – N8 15:12, December 13, 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the block

Appreciate the block of the problem child. I don't know what set him off this time, but it could be anything. You have now joined the club of those whom he feels have aggrieved him. For your amusement, if it interests you.. Cheers, and happy new year!  :) ----Ebyabe (talk) 07:19, January 1, 2018 (UTC)

Hi, honest apology over shortening your name in an accidentally offensive way. It was honestly an accident, I didn't catch that it came across like that. OS25🤙☎️ 12:25, January 16, 2018 (UTC)

Mara Tales

Hi, I saw that you deleted the new Mara Tales boxset image, sorry I didn't realise the image size was that large, however it was the only copy I was able to find. Do you have any suggestions on some way I could reduce the image size, maybe some online tool or something similar? Thanks for your time, 0003c9fe 00:38, January 22, 2018 (UTC)

Found an easy way to compress it, thanks for your help. 0003c9fe 01:25, January 22, 2018 (UTC)

RE: Helping others

Hey there. I understand, was just hoping to save them time given I was on and felt I could spare you guys the trouble; call a force of habit from my time on other wikis. I'll be sure to leave it in your's and the staff's more than capable hands in future. Once more, my apologies. Snivystorm 20:16, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

RE: Edit Revert

I'd like to know why my edit on the article for John (Remembrance Of The Daleks) was reverted. 02:25, February 1, 2018 (UTC) Shanethefilmmaker 02:26, February 1, 2018 (UTC)

Not to tell someone how to do their job, but I don't see how a grammar mistake warrants a full reversion. It's like dropping a bomb on someone for shooting you with a water pistol. It does the job in retaliation, but it's still an extreme way to do it. Shanethefilmmaker

Re

If you mean the move I made on the 456 virus page, I made that page. Then I realized that the "the" in the name made no sense so I moved it to change it from "the 456 virus" to just "456 virus."--WarGrowlmon18 01:11, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

RE: Edit summaries

Okay, I will do. I said that because it looked liked vandalism; much quicker to say that than justify the revert in a few sentences. Regardless, I'll avoid saying it in the future. Thanks for notifying me. Snivystorm 17:50, February 3, 2018 (UTC)

Heads up

You'll likely be interested in this. Surfacing it, because it may not be obvious to you just by looking at the main namespace.

Video games

I understand that, but are you saying that your goal wasn't always to get rid of video games forever? And I literally stated in the post that I didn't want to presume that it was true, it was more of a question really.

Look, I'm truly not that invested in the whole video game topic anymore. I've got bigger things to worry about. So if you feel that strongly about it I'll stay out of that debate from here on out. OS25🤙☎️ 03:19, February 13, 2018 (UTC)

RE:Speculation

Apart from the factt that it's not Speculation, sure. --HarryPotterRules1 12:02, February 14, 2018 (UTC)

Possible plagiarism

I've noticed you've recently been removing a lot of summaries from pages like Neverland, Transit, etc, for the reason of "possible violation of Tardis:Plagiarism". I haven't checked all the summaries you've removed, but best I can tell, all of them were added by User:Timewalkerauthor, who was the original author of these reviews (as established at User talk:Timewalkerauthor#Plagiarism) who put them here by my request. In which case, it would not be a violation of T:THEFT. Am I misunderstanding something here?

Hope you're well! – N8 04:34, February 15, 2018 (UTC)

Hmm, I'd never quite interpreted T:THEFT that way. I guess it might just be a spirit.vs.letter of the law thing. From my perspective, I suppose I mostly hit up other shows' wikis to read plot summaries of their episodes, and then get super frustrated when I have to leave their wiki to go to wikipedia or something. But regardless of my view, your reasoning makes sense, so all's fair. Thanks for taking the time to clarify :) – N8 14:08, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
