Gold was a shade of yellow resembling the substance of the same name.

While operating as "the General" in his first incarnation, Morbius wore a uniform which included golden braid and epaulettes. (PROSE: Warmonger)

Gold Daleks were leading members from the Dalek Council. (TV: Day of the Daleks, Frontier in Space; PROSE: The Jeopardy of Solar Proximity) The Necros Daleks had white casings with gold globes and panels, (TV: Revelation of the Daleks) as did the Imperial Daleks had white casings. (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks; AUDIO: The Curse of Davros, Terror Firma) A white Dalek was present on Moldox near the close of the Last Great Time War. (PROSE: Engines of War) The Bronze Daleks had gold power panels and globes. (TV: Dalek onwards) Many Supreme Daleks were black and gold (TV: Planet of the Daleks) or crimson with gold panels and globes. (TV: The Stolen Earth|Journey's End, The Magician's Apprentice|The Witch's Familiar; COMIC: Ambush; AUDIO: Out of Time) Many Dalek Emperors were gold. (AUDIO: The Mutant Phase; PROSE: The Restoration Empire, Defender of the Daleks, et al.) Dalek X, a Dalek Inquisitor General, had a black casing with gold panels and globes. Davros, creator of the Daleks, briefly had a white chair with gold globes, (AUDIO: The Juggernauts) and was also housed with a white casing with gold globes during his time as Emperor. (COMIC: Emperor of the Daleks; TV: Remembrance of the Daleks; AUDIO: Terror Firma)

Some Sontarans wore gold helmets such as Commander Steg, (HOMEVID: Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans), and some high-ranking members wore gold sashes including Fleet Marshal Stentor. (PROSE: Lords of the Storm) Some Sontarans including General Ignatius Antias Salutio and Commander Caecilius Crassus Procullus who thought they were Romans wore gold armour. While posing as the Other Doctor, the Bald Master wore a striped black and gold cravat. (AUDIO: Dominion)

Wrack, the leader of the Eternals on the Buccaneer, wore a gold dress during a party. (TV: Enlightenment)

Jackson Lake wore a gold cravat when he and Rosita worked with the Tenth Doctor to stop Cybermen from Pete's World during the 1851 Incident. (TV: The Next Doctor)

Charles Dickens wore a single breasted waistcoat of ebony and gold brocade when he met the Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Gwyneth, and the Gelth in Cardiff during 1869. (TV: The Unquiet Dead)

Romana wore a gold waistcoat during her second incarnation. (TV: The Horns of Nimon; COMIC: Time Lady of Means)

Clara Oswald wore an indigo mini-dress with African symbols done in gold during the 3W Institute Affair. (TV: Dark Water|Death in Heaven)

The Eighth Doctor wore a cravat of gold dupioni when he and Charley Pollard went to Venice in 2294. (AUDIO: The Stones of Venice) He also wore it during an encounter with Sontarans round Giant's Causeway during 55 BC. (AUDIO: The Battle of Giant's Causeway)

While travelling through Malthill Way in 1745, the Eleventh Doctor wore a burgundy coat and a violet purple waistcoat; both with golden edges. (COMIC: Malthill Way)

The Toymaker had gold thread on his Chinese Mandarin outfit. (PROSE: The Celestial Toymaker) He also wore a shako and frock coat done in scarlet and ivory with gold trims when he plays the Spice Girls song Spice Up Your Life while messing with UNIT in London during 2023. (TV: The Giggle)

Both sides of the Napoleonic War wore gold epaulettes, including Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington. Tardis) The Seventh Doctor tried on a Napoleonic frock coat in navy and ivory with gold epaulettes and a crimson trim before for a silver grey safari jacket. (TV: Time and the Rani)  

Artie Berger, a piano musician, wore a crimson tie with gold stripes when helping to capture a sound monster on 1946. (AUDIO: Fright Motif)  

Leading members on Gallifrey wore crimson robes with gold symbols during and after the Last Great Time War. They included President Rassilon in four incarnations: an old one, (AUDIO: Desperate Measures) a younger one with a beard, (AUDIO: Deception) a menacing one with a crew cut, (TV: The End of Time) and an aging one. (TV: Hell Bent) They also included his Chancellor, the Partisan, the Visionary, (TV: The End of Time) and Cardinal Ollistra. (AUDIO: The Innocent) Leela also wore a crimson robe with gold symbols to symbolize her connection to Gallifrey. (WC: The Final Battle)

The Ringmaster of the Psychic Circus wore a gold bow tie. (TV: The Greatest Show in the Galaxy)
