King Æthelred I was a king who led an army of Saxons in battle against the Vikings in Hampshire on 22 January 871, where his forces were defeated. Before the battle, a mysterious figure dressed as a monk was seen attempting to sell Æthelred used stun blasters. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary)
