Concealed Weapon (audio story)
Concealed Weapon was the fourth story of the audio anthology, The Diary of River Song: Series Five. It was written by Scott Handcock and featured Alex Kingston as River Song and Derek Jacobi as the War Master.

Notes
- The Master notes that in their own attempts to win the Time war, the Time Lords and the Daleks have been splicing alien lifeforms with the time vortex itself. Here it is seen to result in powerful but mindless impossible beasts. The only other instance of absorbing the time Vortex lead to the creation of the bad wolf entity after the wars end.
Continuity
- The Master reveals that he did look into River's background, having voiced his intention to do so in an earlier incarnation. (AUDIO: Animal Instinct)
- River remarks "So lovely to see you, again". (AUDIO: The Bekdel Test, Animal Instinct, The Lifeboat and the Deathboat) The Master, though, only remembers two of these incidents (AUDIO: Animal Instinct, The Lifeboat and the Deathboat)
