On 2 April 2005, Mrs Baggs wrote to the website Who is Doctor Who?, where she dismissed the "strange disembodied voice" that many others heard as coming from the "silly" radio dramas her husband listened to. - "Mrs Baggs's husband", while his name was left unmentioned, is identifiable as Bill Baggs, the former spouse of Helen Baggs. Bill runs BBV Productions, makers of primarily audio dramas. Presumably, Helen or Bill likely wrote this entry on the website.
- In Zygon: When Being You Just Isn't Enough, one minor character seems to use a credit card with the name "William B. Baggs" printed on it, although this is unlikely to have meant to be an in-universe counterpart of Baggs, especially as the character was credited as "Wealthy Man" and was portrayed by Matt Montgomery.
