Dave Gibbons was an artist for Doctor Who Weekly.
He illustrated two full-colour panoramas depicting events from the Doctor's journal which were printed in the first issue of Doctor Who Weekly, and rub-down action transfers were included in the first four issues to "complete" the panoramas. Following the conclusion of his first magazine adventure, the Fourth Doctor believed he would be in for "another hectic time" the following week as he was "at the mercy" of the Mills, Wagner and Gibbons creative team.
