The Year That Never Was[[edit] | [edit source]]

He ruled the planet for a year, turning it into a slave camp to create a New Time Lord Empire. This timeline was erased when the Master's Paradox machine was destroyed, which reversed time to just before the Toclafane invasion. (TV: The Sound of Drums, Last of the Time Lords)

In the year 2006, the Cybermen returned to Earth, using a new techno-virus. With this new weapon, the Cybermen managed to conquer Earth within three days, turning the population into Cyber-Warriors. After he was infected, the Ninth Doctor attempted to rupture the Eye of Harmony in his TARDIS to destroy the planet only for his ship to fall victim to Rassilon's manipulations of Gallifrey's Eye of Harmony, depriving it off all power. This timeline was undone when the Twelfth Doctor and a remorseful Rassilon joined forces to undo the Cyberiad's perversions of history. (COMIC: Supremacy of the Cybermen)

Without the Doctor's expertise, UNIT resorted to more destructive means to repel the various extra-normal attacks, leaving Earth a heavily damaged world by the time that the Time Lord finally arrived. This Earth was conquered by the Cyber-Mainframe. Rather than upgrade its populace, the Cyber-Mainframe instead enslaved the humans as batteries, harvesting their bio-electric energy to fuel their multiversal crusade as well as setting up the necessary Cyber-technology to use this Earth as a base. This Earth was briefly linked to its N-Space counterpart by dimension bridge, (AUDIO: Telepresence, Code Silver) before the War Master managed to sever the connections. (AUDIO: Master of Worlds)

In the 24th century, this Earth was nearly assimilated by the Borg Collective before the crew of the USS Enterprise managed to destroy the invading Borg cube.

In a possible future of this reality, one where the Cybermen had conquered and assimilated the Borg, Earth became the last holdout of resistance against the Cybermen before they conquered it in 2533. (COMIC: Assimilation²)

Jackie Reeve's universe[[edit] | [edit source]]

Main article: Jackie Reeve's universe

This was the first parallel universe that Rose Tyler visited as she tried to return to N-Space from Pete's World. During her visit, the Sun went out, destroyed by the reality bomb. Rose returned to Pete's World as this Earth began to freeze over, bringing with her the native version of Clive Finch. (AUDIO: The Endless Night)

Main article: Rob Tyler's universe

In this reality, the orbit of the Earth had been altered, bringing it closer to the Sun. This resulted in a severe case of global warming, causing a rainfall to last decades. The Last Party on Earth[[edit] | [edit source]]

Main article: Parallel universe (The Last Party on Earth)

In this reality, Earth was fated to be destroyed by planetoid EK56. When Rose Tyler and Jackie Tyler visited this universe in their attempts to return to N-Space, they found that they, Mickey Smith and Kevin Bacon had no counterparts in this world, nor had this world experienced any of the alien invasions Rose had lived through. Being the fourth time Rose had found no trace of the Doctor, this convinced her that the Time Lord had no alternate counterparts in the multiverse. (AUDIO: The Last Party of Earth)

Saltwater incidents' universe[[edit] | [edit source]]

Main article: Saltwater incidents' universe

In this reality, an automated mining ship parked itself in the solar system and began teleporting the salt out of the Earth's oceans. The people of this Earth managed to stop the process when they communicated to the ship that life existed on the planet. Clive Finch suspected that the ship had not been sent to Earth but, due to the vanishing stars, had gotten lost. (AUDIO: Saltwater)

In one possible future, global warming, economic collapse, mass migration and nuclear war turned the Earth into an uninhabitable wasteland populated by the Dregs, the mutated remnants of humanity. The Thirteenth Doctor told her companions that Orphan 55 was just one possible future for the Earth of 2020 and it could be avoided if humanity made the right choices. (TV: Orphan 55)
