McIntee was a writer who in 1993 documented the Great Old Ones faction, the same faction that had been documented by Lovecraft in 1923. Meta-Historian Olivia Kagg Waldermein said that the Auld Ones mentioned by Susit in Dionus' diaries were "not to be confused with the Lovecraft-Mcintee Great Old Ones or the Hinton-Lane Great Old Ones".
