Childhood[[edit] | [edit source]]

One day when walking home from middle school, Sang Mi encountered a woman near death, begging someone to "call her caseworker". She stayed with her until the emergency services arrived, putting pressure on the woman's wound. But as a result of no one checking that she was alright, Sang Mi had a major mental breakdown, which hostpitalised her for a long time, during which people cared less and less about her prediciment as time went on. On one day, she saw a man outside the hospital waving at her, and that gave her hope. That man turned out to be Chris Cwej. Investigating the Letharchy[[edit] | [edit source]]

Expecting to go to Academy 27, Sang Mi and her brother Sang Eun were picked up by a "cab driver", in reality Chris Cwej, and on their way Sang Mi saw the notification saying school was cancelled due to the storms, resulting in the Sangs demanding their driver to take them to Virginia's Cosmic Bakes.

Once there, the Sangs met up with their other friends - JackBox (a Maverick), Li Xiu, and Jae Hyun - whilst Chris bumped into Lady Aesculapius, and the two mentioned that their respective superiors - namely the Superiors and the Firmament, respectively - had sent them here to investigate the "disturbances". Jae Hyun suggested the group go to the Zombie Escape Room, but there was a "problem" with Sang Mi going, and so she stayed behind. This meant that once the rest of her friends had left, Sang Mi managed to pursuade Chris and Aesc to take her with them, threatening to tell people what they were talking about.

Chris, Aesc, and Aesc's girlfriend Blanche Combine took Sang Mi, who apparently thought the pair were filmmakers, to the Takumi Broadcasting Centre. Once in the tower, Sang Mi contacted her drug dealer Saki to bring the "Delirium" drug which had previoulsy caused her to have strange dreams affected by the increased storms Chris and Aesc were investigating.
