Blanche Combine

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Blanche Combine was one of Lady Aesculapius's companions.

She looked identical to Graelyn Scythes except for having white hair, and apparently started out as an enemy to Graelyn, trying to kill her "a few times". However, this eventually worked itself out. (PROSE: Birthdays are Made for Memories)

She eventually stopped travelling with her and settled for a quiet life in a cottage. However, she was invited to Aesc's interdimensional funeral when Aesculapius, having been reborn in a new body, decided she needed to gather everyone she knew in a single room to figure out who the killer was. This gave Blanche the opportunity to meet some of Aesc's other companions past and present, including Graelyn Scythes, Archimedes Von Ahnerabe, and Jason Jackson, the current one. She then bore witness to Aesc figuring out the culprit was her old nemesis Professor Meistras, before enjoying the buffet with the others, with the caveat of objecting to the pineapple toppings on the pizza. (PROSE: Life After Death)

Later, Lady Aesc, Jason and Blanche were among the friends of Graelyn Scythes's from across the realities who answered Archimedes's call for video greetings to send to Graelyn when she had to spend her birthday in quarantine. An awkward Blanche apologised once again for her past murder attempts. (PROSE: Birthdays are Made for Memories)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Blanche originated in the 10,000 Dawns series, between the Doctor Who universe and which Life After Death was a crossover. She was introduced in Concert at Dusk, a short story by James Wylder which was released as part of the Tales by the Blue Light podcast on 28 June 2018.
