Trying to do a bit of a historical dive into forums/talk pages and flesh out what is important and for why. Might be subjective, but hopefully I can figure out what might give some insight into what other people care about. GAAAAHHH people didn't archive talk pages in the early days. They just deleted them. Makes things hard to find.

Forum:Searching is undergoing a massive, Wikia-driven change - Not sure if this workaround is still possible, but wiki search still is awful.

Forum:Tables need headers - Some helpful discussion of tables for newer users.

Forum:EVERYONE READ: Some infobox variables being upgraded to SMW links - Helpful discussion of SMW for users who don't toy with it.

Forum:Color/font coding of namespaces - Project has been completely abandoned. But I think the archivist note here has some ideas that we might want to revist for the BTS namespaces.

Forum:ST/DW crossover comic: technical naming restrictions - Tiny discussion surrounding coordination with other wikis wrt crossover products. Not even a real discussion.

Forum:New spoiler screen - Outmoded, but we might want to try it again?

Forum:Twitter feed - We absolutely no longer have access to this account, and we have a new one.

Forum:All admin please read Help:Blocking - Discussion of the origin of the unblocking procedures, might need an update, idk.

Forum:Are the Invisible Enemy clones characters in their own right? - Restatement of the continuity of consciousness approach to identity that was developed wrt, I believe, Auton Rory?

Forum:'In character' appearances by the Doctor - Statement as far back as 2012 that breaking the 4th wall may be kosher for stories being valid.

Forum:First appearance of the sun and the moon - Doesn't apply to a ton of issues, but a bit of discussion of what to do when topics touch on things that might be impacted by the missing episodes, if we know that the missing episodes would likely change the statements we put on this wiki.

Forum:Audio Visuals - Discussion of having pages for notable fan works.

Forum:Disambiguation: Omegas - Discussion of some of our disambiguation rules and when things stop needing to be dabbed.

Forum:Distant past/Far future categories - Should probably reopen, these terms are super vague.

Forum:Doctor Who prefix in titles - Establishes that we should remove the "Doctor Who" prefix from titles that have it, usually.

Forum:Foreshadowing section on Doctors pages - /Laughs maniacally/ Vortex butterflies will meet its end.

Forum:Leela Audio Story category - Some discussion of why we don't have story categories for each character/group, not sure how much we're actually doing with SMW and how much these plans stalled.

Forum:Prefix simplification - Another one of those threads that has massive impacts in a variety of different ways. Necessary reading.

Forum:Reference books - what do we cover? - Some discussion of references books/criticism/analysis, doesn't go anywhere.

Forum:References to BFDWU as alternate or diverging timeline - Outdated, but one of the old discussions about Unbound being invalid.

Talk pages, 2012

Talk:P.S. (webcast)/Archive 1 - Outdated, but relevant to discussions about deleted scenes. User talk:Revanvolatrelundar/Archive 3#Blocking reversal + some discussions at User talk:Cyruptsaram that should be easy to find - Brief comments on SMW motivation as it intersects our categories, as well as how best to handle editors making rapid, mistaken edits, and disagreements on how to handle this.

Talk:Akhenaten - Actually a good question, and not one I'm sure we've resolved. How do we know that Amenhotep->Akhenaten is Amenhotep!Married!Nefertiti?

Talk:River Song/Archive 5#Bisexuality - Interesting discussion of to what extent we can trust anything Moffat says, application of T:NOT SFW, and some gestures towards where and how we can infer things in the show. No clear resolution for a general policy, just a specific case, but it's interesting to look back on.

Talk:P.S. (webcast)/Archive 1#Not a valid source + Talk:Devious (home video) - Since been overturned, but this seems to be the justification, insofar as we can use that term, for invalid stories not having continuity sections originally.
