Happy Price was a supermarket facing the Machen estate in Cardiff. It was managed by Bailey. The shop had "cut-throat" prices which were incongruent with its location in a low-income area, and its logo was a personified Pound sign with sharp teeth.
In 2009, the Happy Price was destroyed when Pam Feerce activated the self-destruct feature of a Torrosett 51 binary heat-cannon. (PROSE: The Wrong Hands) Officially, the cause for this explosion was said to have been a "gas leak". (PROSE: Virus)
