Doctor Who - The Animated Series was a pitch created by I.N.J. Culbard in 2002.
Culbard met with the script editor of the animation unit of BBC Bristol. When he asked if they were open to pitches regarding Doctor Who, he was told it was a "no go, animated or otherwise", and he never got to present the pitch.

The title is very similar to two other proposed animated series; Doctor Who the Animated Series and The 'New' Doctor Who – An Animated Series.
