Worldbuilding

• Dead Cyberons litter the far future ruins of the Superior citadel.
• Frey is an Ephem.
• Chris is taken to a 30-second town.
• Christina died protecting a family in England from Cyberons.
• Time-rewinders and backtime spears were used in the Uprising.
• The Uprising was fought on the Ridge of Stars.
• During the Uprising, some factions of the Superiors have allied with forces across the multiverse such as the Gendar Infinita, the execrable Lords Dimensional, and even the Adversary's Scion.

Story notes

• David A. McIntee's character Koschei (an early identity of the Master introduced in the novel The Dark Path) appears here for the first time in a Doctor Who spin-off rather than Doctor Who proper. There had previously been plans by BBV Productions to feature Koschei (played by Anthony Ainley) as the protagonist of an audio series, but those did not come to pass due to Ainley's lack of availability.
