Windmills of Mars was the opening story of Doctor Who: The Animated Series featuring the Eighth Doctor. A new companion, Elizabeth McPherson was to join at the conclusion of the story. (VV 5)
Plot Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Eighth Doctor is summoned by the First Doctor to the moons of a dead world where he's given instructions to go to Mars in the year 1999 and prevent mankind's unforseen destruction. The Ice Warriors return in this four parter. (VV 5)
