This page absolutely does contain spoilers either about the behind-the-scenes or narrative elements of stories which have not yet been published or broadcast. Please see our spoiler policy for our rules governing articles about such subjects.
This page collects in-universe information gathered from photos of mise-en-scene, props, and set dressings seen during the filming of Doctor Who: Season 1.
Depending on if these are seen in the final cut of the coming episodes, these can be properly added to the Wiki as valid pages.
If I have missed any, please contact me on my talk page.
Archer & Lewis[[edit] | [edit source]]
Archer & Lewis appears to be making a return in Series 14. (Brilliant attention to detail RTD!)
As seen in these photos, new in-universe details include: signs saying "Students" and "Property Advice"; info about Archer & Lewis, such as ENQUIRIES@archer&lewis.co.org, 01632 960394, 12 High Street, Kennington, SE11 6GD; property details about 20 Rosemary Place, Kennington, SE11 4TU, such as it having two bedrooms, one living room, and one bathroom, as well as it costing £475 p.c.m and having a description that reads "This two bed midi Terrace property is perfect for anyone starting out! Modern kitchen and dining area, downstairs W/C with a rear paved area. Property also features a garage on the main road. Located near local schools and amenities."; property details about 133 London Street, Kennington, SE11 6TU, such as it having two bedrooms, one living room, and one bathroom, as well as it costing £455 p.c.m and having a description that reads "Two bed ex council house located on the outskirts of Kennington. Perfect for a young family, this property has a fair sized kitchen, two decent sized bedrooms as well as a good sized garden. Near the local bus routes and local schools. Monthly rental includes all [unclear] of council tax."; there are two other property signs, but there aren't good photos of these, but some details can be read, such as "-uring two good sized bedrooms as [unclear] -g out. Allocated parking spot as well [unclear]" and "[unclear] residential location, a three bedroom property dating back to the 18[unclear]'s. The property [unclear] a good sized reception room, fairly modern kitchen, ground floor W/C and bathroom [unclear] and a rear parking [unclear].".
Despite being seen in some photos, the Celtic Collection Job Shop and other posters seen on the doors of the Archer & Lewis shop are real posters that weren't "greeked" by the production crew, leaving me hesitant to believe that they are intended to exist in-universe. Also the SGD security alarm is also a real alarm, so my thoughts apply there too.
Note: as this appears to imply scenes are set in Kennington, this may add more evidence to the Powell Estate being located there as opposed to Peckham...
Appears to have been filmed at Careers Wales at 47/48 High Street Newport.
Blooming Fresh[[edit] | [edit source]]
Blooming Fresh appears to be a new brand. Probably a florist.
As seen in these photos, the side of a building has details about the business: they were established in 2021, their phone number is 020 7946 0121, and they use the hashtag #BLOOMINGFRESH.
Wrap Express[[edit] | [edit source]]
Wrap Express appears to be a new brand. Probably an expy for Subway, given that is the brand that was "greeked".
As seen in these photos, the only new details is the branding. The windows still retain the Subway adverts.
Appears to have been filmed at Subway at 40 High Street Newport.
The Giftbox[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Giftbox appears to be a new brand. Probably a home goods shop specialising in imported Asian products.
As seen in these photos, The Giftbox has the number "41" on the front and advertises "cards and gifts".
Despite being seen in some photos, the window stickers on the righthand window pane by the door, including the giftaidit sticker, were more real stickers that weren't "greeked" out by the production crew.
Appears to have been filmed at St David's Hospice Care at 41 High Street Newport.
Albion[[edit] | [edit source]]
Albion seems to have a building. Probably will be part of the in-universe campaign.
As seen in these photos, Albion has a few notable elements: slogans that read "Vote Gwilliam", "Bigger Better Bolder Britain", and "Roger Ap Gwilliam", as well as #VOTEALBION. Soem photos show extras wearing Albion branded shirts.
These photos show interior images of the Albion building. On a computer, there seems to be some sort of website (!) about Albion, featuring images of Gwilliam, the Big Ben, and a wind turbine. There is another slogan, "Roger That! Vote Roger Ap Gwilliam!" In the other image, towards the bottom left corner, there is a display titled "Our Team" with pictures of different people. This may be seen in more detail in the future. There are other details but they are too small to make out.
Triad Technology[[edit] | [edit source]]
Not just a location, Triad Technology has been spotted in some photos.
As seen in these photos, Triad Technology has a security guard, advertising on a bus, and some sort of foyer.
Hawkins & Co. Estate Agents[[edit] | [edit source]]
Hawkins & Co. Estate Agents appears to be a new brand. Probably an estate agents.
As seen in these photos, the property posters re-uses text from the Archer & Lewis posters: they have the same phone number, 01632 960394; the same email albeit with the name changed, ENQUIRIES@hawkins[unclear]; similar location, 12 High Street, Notting Hill, etc. Also the descriptions on the posters seem to recycle parts of others, with one property, 28 West Street, Notting Hill, W11 4TU, reading "Located in a convenient residential location, a three bedroom property dating back [unclear] council house is located on the outskirts of Notting Hill. Perfect for a young family th- [unclear] kitchen, three decent size bedrooms as well as a garden. All rates included."
First Steps Architects[[edit] | [edit source]]
First Steps Achitects appears to be a new brand. Probably an architects.
As seen in these photos, there are various building plans, although too small to see in any detail. There is another image that is of an location: Heights, Uxbridge, UB4 0HS. Also mentioned is: a client, N O'Neill; a date, 12 March 2024; and a company, H&H.
Foxglove & Co[[edit] | [edit source]]
Foxglove & Co appears to be a new bran. Probably a clothes shop.
As seen in these photos, the shop was founded in 1921.
Church, Ruby Road[[edit] | [edit source]]
Now that The Church on Ruby Road has been revealed to be ghe title of the 2023 Christmas Special, we can expect Church (The Church on Ruby Road)/Church, Ruby Road/an actual name, and Ruby Road.
Other TCoRR locations[[edit] | [edit source]]
Also, according to news articles, Minto Road will be returning, as well as being clarified to be located in the W11 postcode district and located in Notting Hill, London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. (Susie Mair all over again...!)
Forbridge Street was filmed at Wetherell Place.
The London Carriage Association operates bus routes around Notting Hill, including the buses 47, 55, 94, 96, W69, and the X99.
Will any of these get websites?[[edit] | [edit source]]
Most of 'em? Nah. A website for a florist, made up estate agents, or a Subway expy don't seem that likely to get their own websites (and there is no guarantee any of these groups will get 'em) although an ice cream parlour got a website so it's not impossible. More realistically, a website for Albion and/or Triad Technology could happen.
Roger ap Gwilliam was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom by 2046. The Fifteenth Doctor considered him to be "the most dangerous prime minister in history."
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]
After arriving on the Welsh coast, the Fifteenth Doctor cited Gwilliam as "a bad example of the Welsh"; he recounted how Gwilliam had almost plunged the world into nuclear war, but releasing that Ruby Sunday was from an earlier period of history, he stopped himself from continuing to prevent spoilers.
