The poster for Ice Warrior: Ragnarok.

Ice Warrior: Ragnarok was a planned 2003 home video release by Craig Hinton, directed by Matt Carter. Rights to use the Ice Warriors were licenced from the Brian Hayles estate. It featured a new Ice Warrior design by Phil Robinson, making them much more mobile. Michael Jayston was to play a blind Monk.

When the BBC announced the return of Doctor Who to television the rights to use the Ice Warriors expired and the project fell through. The Ice Warrior costume was later used as a background extra for an Orange mobiles advertisement.[1][2]
