- The Uprising was fought on the Ridge of Stars.
- During the Uprising, some factions of the Superiors have allied with forces across the multiverse such as the Gendar Infinita, the execrable Lords Dimensional, and even the Adversary's Scion.

- David A. McIntee's character Koschei (an early identity of the Master introduced in the novel The Dark Path) appears here for the first time in a Doctor Who spin-off rather than Doctor Who proper. There had previously been plans by BBV Productions to feature Koschei (played by Anthony Ainley) as the protagonist of an audio series, but those did not come to pass due to Ainley's lack of availability.
