The character was a DWU counterpart of Antonio Amaral. Whether the character was actually a human who had travelled to Minyos or was indeed a Minyan wasn't clarified.
Antonio had been one of the "God Level" supporters of Omega when it had been raising funds on Kickstarter. One of the perks was to be drawn into the story, and Antonio was thanked by Cutaway Comics in the first issue of Omega.
