Full Moon was the first of four The Sarah Jane Adventures Halloween specials proposed to be aired in 2011. However, due to the death of Elisabeth Sladen, it was never produced. These Halloween specials were intended to extend the presence of The Sarah Jane Adventures by having them air after the first half of Series 5 as the show would have been quietly suspended until 2012, where they would eventually reschedule for production. Because Elisabeth Sladen would be taking time off (with the hope of recovering from treatment), these live Halloween specials would not include Sarah Jane and instead focus on Clyde, Rani and Sky with the hope of them reuniting with Luke.

It would have seen Clyde, Rani, Sky and Luke celebrating and dressing up for Halloween until they eventually encounter the Pagan Gods, Gog and Magog, who were trying to escape an alien spaceship.

It would have been followed by The Station, another special. (REF: DWMSE 32)
