Bizarre Love Triangle was an unproduced novel pitched by Matt Jones for Virgin Books' New Adventures.
It would have centred on Emile Mars-Smith, introduced in 1997's Beyond the Sun, crash-landing on a deadly planet with a heterosexual girl and a "cute lad" who did not know that he was an evil god. Whilst they would struggle to survive, the other gods were on their way to reclaim their lost boy.
The proposal was rejected. Jones used the same title for an unrelated story also starring Emile which he pitched to Gary Russell as an audio story for Big Finish Productions' Bernice Summerfield. (REF: Bernice Summerfield: The Inside Story)
