Warmongers was a script written by Marc Platt and Jeremy Bentham which was submitted to the Doctor Who production office near the end of Eric Saward's time as a script editor. Saward met with Platt and Bentham to discuss the script, but it was not commissioned.
The story would have involved Sontarans and Rutans in London during the Blitz.
Platt's next script, Cat's Cradle, would find slightly more success with Saward's replacement, Andrew Cartmel. (DWM 305)
