Army of Death was the one hundred and fifty-fifth story in Big Finish's monthly range. It was written by Jason Arnopp and featured Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor and Julie Cox as Mary Shelley.
This was the last Eighth Doctor story to be featured in the Main Range. The Eighth Doctor continued to appear in other Big Finish ranges, including his own dedicated sagas, and finally returned alongside Charlotte Pollard in the Main Range's final release, The End of the Beginning.
