Ark in Space was a story concept in John Leekley's series bible for Amblin Entertainment's proposed 1990s Doctor Who television show. It was based on the Fourth Doctor serial The Ark in Space.[1]
Synopsis
In the far future, the Tardis arrives on an automated space station where the entire human population waits in deep freeze while a deadly diseases ravages Earth. A machinery malfunction means they were not awoken on time, and invading insect-like creatures have laid eggs in the leader, Noah. Noah sacrifices himself, and the Doctor awakens the passengers.[2]
